I just spent a weekend at Hotel Hispanidad, and while it has its charm, let’s keep it real. The location is a win, just a short stroll from the stunning UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Santa María de Guadalupe Royal Monastery—perfect for those early morning explorations with travel buddies. The air-conditioned rooms are basic yet functional, and I appreciated the mountain views, especially while sipping coffee on the terrace. The bar was surprisingly good for a nightcap after a day of sightseeing, though the restaurant's menu was just okay—it's a perfect excuse to head out for breakfast where the churros and chocolate nearby stole the show! All in all, while it’s not an extravagant stay, the welcoming manager and friendly staff added a nice touch to our getaway.
